New Spooner Studios Photography Website

Since we have our first website, we wanted to create something that was different from the norm (or at least the norm of other photographers) which generally tended to be 100% based on a flash web site that takes a long time to load and is heavily graphics based. We are also aware that content has be to be short and precise to engage the visitor to stay and browse more as well as get the pages they want.

Websites can be very subjective to the creator and therefore sometimes what is appealing to one person is not to another. We have had feedback over the years about how ‘clean’ and ‘easy’ our site has been in the past to navigate and get information from as well as secure for our clients previewing pages and galleries.

Facebook has been a very successful promotional tool for us this year and we are now in the process of tying in FB with WordPress and our new website in the making (due to go live within the next week or so). Getting to grips with all this social networking as well as our membership to BNI (Oxford Academy Chapter) is quite a challenge. We belive that having a schedule of how long we spend on social networking is key to keeping sane and focussing on business.
